  • If you still have access to the old number:

    Login using the old number by going to SynergyDeposits.ca, and clicking “Login” in the upper right.  Once logged in, click your name in the upper right, and select Profile.  On the profile page select “Change Phone Number.”  You’ll then enter and validate your new number.  You will then login using that number going forward.

    If you no longer have access to the old number:

    You will need to create a new account.  Login using your new number, validate it, and enter a new email address, and then validate that.  You must enter an alternative email address as your previous email is associated with your old number.   You can’t change the phone number on an account once you loose access to the old number.

  • All funds you send with SynergyDeposits are provided to the inmate in their trust/canteen account.

  • 1 Phone/Tablet account. This is where funds are used for the inmate to make phone calls and use tablet features such as sending messages, watching movies, etc. (Not all facilities offer Tablet features) Options to deposit to this account are:

    • https://inmatephones.ca using Credit Card
    • Go to a Lobby Kiosk and use Credit card or Cash
    • Go to Canada Post and buy a MoneyGram, then call Customer Service for it to be processed. 1-866-713-4761.
    • Call customer service and use the IVR or speak with a Live Representative 1-866-713-4761

    2 Trust/Canteen account. This is the account for the inmate to buy snacks and other canteen items. They can also transfer funds from their canteen account to their phone account. To deposit to this account:

    • https://synergydeposits.ca using Interac or Paypal
    • Go to a Lobby Kiosk and use Cash
    • Go to Canada Post and buy a MoneyGram, then call Customer Service for it to be processed. 1-866-713-4761.

  • You can transfer funds directly from your bank account to SynergyDeposits using Interac® Payment Requests. Interac Payment Requests are supported by the following Financial Institutions.
